Chez Swann is in a great location to explore Montreal . Parking is under the hotel next door which is convenient but does require moving luggage through their lobby and down a flight of stairs . The staff are very helpful. The room was a little tired . Gouged wooden floor , no toilet paper holder and weird steps from bathroom to bed which we were not expecting . Not great for walking at night . The breakfast was disappointing. No fresh fruit , packaged pastries, bad coffee, no eggs. We went out the second day to the restaurant down the street for breakfast. For the price I think they could do better .

Excellent location, super lovely room. Tip: there is parking nearby, but it does not belong to the hotel and is around 60$ a day, but it is monitored 24/hr, which is a bonus.

Everything was great- except for the unpleasant and unhelpful person at check-in. If she doesn't like her job- she should try something else. We are doing you a favor staying there; it is not the other way around. The person who replaced her later that day was completely professional and pleasant.

Pros 1- We were able to check out two hours late 2-Clean Hotel 3- Helpful staff Cons 1-Area around Hotel was kind of sketchy…Homeless folks and druggies 2-Very Noisy at night…Sirens…Doors slamming 3-Bar / Restaurant was VERY pricey $35 for a Hamburger…Yikes!!!

Don’t walk, RUN and book this property. From the luxe look of the property, courteous staff, great bar and restaurant (Bar George) on-site, I can’t say enough about this property. They offer cleaning and a turn-down service where they freshen up the room and offer complimentary water bottles before the day ends. The patio for our room, although we didn’t use it, was an excellent touch. Room was spacious for two people, shower was HUGE, with nice shower amenities. Location was great as well. Uber/Lyft to everywhere I needed to go within about 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Montreal.

Very convenient location, awesome place to relax. Loved the gardens and stream. The pool looks lovely but was constantly packed with kids and families saving chairs, so that it was virtually unusable. Adult only hours would make a big difference to the experience. Beer selection at the bar was very limited and service was quite slow. Staff was friendly. Parking was convenient. Room was very clean and comfortable and the bed was awesome. Great sleep. All in all a very nice place to stay.
