Great Stay with One Big Hiccup "I really enjoyed the hotel itself! The place is lovely and kept super clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. My room was on the smaller side, but I know they have more spacious ones available. A quick tip on the neighborhood: It's definitely improving (I walked through in 2023 and it was worse), but you still need to be aware. My advice is to walk straight down to Market Street to get to Union Square or the Financial District, and I'd suggest avoiding Turk, Eddy, and Ellis streets. Now, for the one big issue. We had a really rough night with a disruptive guest that led to the police being called. The disturbance lasted from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., and because the walls are a bit thin, I heard everything and got no sleep. The good news is that the staff handled it the next morning and the disruptive guest was removed. My only real disappointment was that management never reached out to me or the other affected guests. A simple 'Sorry you went through that' would have gone a long way. It's not a dealbreaker, but it was a missed opportunity to show great customer care."

Beds were wonderful. Breakfast was good. I would have liked more options for creamers. Both nights we were awakened by people on….something screaming Outside our windows. Many very loud cars. Probably would ask for a different room next time. Bell service was great. Desk ladies were quite rude.

Loved this property. Upgraded our room with a fantastic view of the water. Very walkable. Hotel car Audi was wonderful perk to drive us to dinner. Very eco friendly. Great breakfast! We reserved rooftop tubs-worth every penny. Complete luxury with beautiful rooftop view. Can’t wait to come back:)

Shashi is elegant and sophisticated without being stuffy. Every element in the property was high quality, we felt special to be there.

Nice hotel with spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room overlooked California St and was a bit noisy (3rd floor), but other than that everything was great.
