5th visit here. Centre of town, by people’s sq and a 1.5 mile walk straight down pedestrian road to the bund. Tube which is really easy and cheap ($0.4 a ride) is here heading to both airports and many other destinations. Room was superb with supper comfortable bathroom and picture window overlook the city. Great

With the construction at the airport, this hotel is no longer convenient. Shuttle busses only arrive once every 30 minutes and it’s a 20 min ride to the hotel.

"The location is great. Definitely worth waking up early to walk around the hutongs nearby before dawn—highlight of our trip. The building is older and is due for an update, but is very clean and warm. I believe our room was upgraded from a double to a double deluxe room, which was very spacious."
