Great location, several pubs and cafes nearby, fantastic river walk with large food market on Sunday. Breakfast was excellent.

Even though I only stayed one night, the experience was amazing. Meticulous attention to detail, making my stay a very memorable one. The food is incredible, whether you choose to dine A La Carte or try one of their very well put together Degustacion menus. Great selection of wine and they take great deal of pride in presenting the local Bordeaux region, its wines and local delicacies. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at this hotel before and were looking forward to returning, but unfortunately the standards have dropped dramatically since our previous visit. For a hotel that markets itself as five-star luxury, the level of service was extremely disappointing. Despite being hotel guests, there was no availability for a lunch table and no availability for spa treatments during our stay. It is difficult to understand how paying guests can be left unable to access the facilities and services that are supposed to be part of the experience. We were in regular contact with the concierge before the stay and it was never mentioned a booking beforehand is required. Breakfast was another major disappointment. One member of our group was pregnant and repeatedly requested eggs to be cooked thoroughly for food safety reasons. Despite making this request multiple times, it was never accommodated. The breakfast offering itself was very basic, with limited choice and poor service throughout. The biggest issue was dinner. It was, without question, the worst meal of our entire trip. We waited almost three hours to receive only a starter and a main course. When the main course finally arrived, it was completely burnt and inedible. There was no sense of urgency, concern, or effort to rectify the situation. What made the experience even more frustrating was the hotel's response to our complaints. Management showed little interest in addressing the issues raised and offered no meaningful reso

It was a great stay! The pool allowed us to cool off, the staff was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond for dinner, the place is amazing. Highly recommend !

This is a beautifully elegant hotel. Each room is unique with high quality fittings and products , particularly the quirky but very wearable bathrobes and the Dyson hair dryer. The team are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble
