Spargi Island Beach Holidays

Nice central location and a beautiful boutique hotel steps from the beach. Had a nice pool and a fantastic restaurant. Service was excellent. Place was clean and bright. Would return again.

Hotel Chateau. Très impressionnant

it is a nice hotel for a one night stop if you're waiting for a flight or to catch a cruise ship. the staff was pretty nice, but we had asked for a taxi to the airport and she told me an hour and a half was plenty of time to allow. unfortunately our driver got hung up in a traffic jam, she ended up scrambling to get another taxi and we barely made our flight. even though the airport is close, allow plenty of time for unseen delays. it was a stressful start to our vacation. breakfast was good, rooms were clean--overall nice, but not many amenities. a bar in the lobby but it was never open. . .kinda weird layout.

This was one of the most amazing, truly relaxing and luxurious experiences in Sardegna. A true gem in La Maddalena! The staff, specially Walter, the evening concierge and Fatou and Aicha, the breakfast staff, were the most helpful, kind, welcoming and wonderful! The entire atmosphere, the beach club, the spa, the pool area and the food were perfect! Everything was a 5 star experience, a destination worth visiting again and again.

The property itself has promise but fails to deliver. Positive: - The hotel property is nice. - Huge pool. - Spa area is terrific. - Nice beach and pool view from our room. - Our superior room was roomy and laid out nice. - We prefer adult only and only 1 child during our visit. - We liked the location - on the beach, good restaurants near, but less crowded than city center. Mixed: - massage. We each had a massage. His was very good, hers was not good at all. - gym: nice sized but old equipment Negative: - no hot water our entire stay. There was also no hot water in any of the spa showers. There are previous reviews mentioning the hot water problem, so it is a recurring issue. - employees ignoring the problem. The front desk didn’t seem even a tiny bit interested in addressing the problem- we brought it up every few hours. After 24 hours, they finally offered a room to shower in two floors down. (Why not just move us to a room that had hot water? Our guess is this is not an isolated problem and others needed a shower room.) - Our food at the hotel was terrible. Everything we ate seemed to be pre-made and low quality. The burger meat had a terrible taste. With that said, this one is easily avoided by eating elsewhere. - the beaches right at the hotel are not great, so you’ll likely want to drive to find better ones. Summary: the lack of hot shower and lsvk of employees who cared about the guest experience left us wishing we had stayed somewhere else.
