Nice property, but food is catered to European tastes, and even though it’s 5 star hotel, it doesn’t give you any toothpaste or conditioner etc.

LOCATION - Not bad. FACILITIES – Very bad, in fact worse. BEACH - More than 15 mins walk from the hotel. No private beach access. only a small sitting area for customers on the beach where they have around 15-20 deckchairs (sunbeds). RESTAURANT – Always a long queue from getting a table to getting main meal items where they serve in our plate. Sometime when you take on food item in a plate and by the time you had to wait in a queue for another item, the first food item gets cold. No food options for Indian or Pakistani. STAFF – Reception staff not very helpful. Restaurant staff & door security are helpful. ENTERTAINMENT SHOWS - Great. Only thing we enjoyed. NOISY - You can hear music in the room until 12am to 1am, despite of shutting the windows. OVERALL – Average hotel. I wont go again. MY EXPERIENCE: Disappointing family stay – multiple service and room failures Stayed with my wife and 3 kids. Check-in was incredibly slow, and reception always had long queues. We were given the wrong room initially; the toilet space was too cramped to sit comfortably. Worse, the water supply failed 3 times in 12 hours. At 6:30 AM, we were left with no water and told no maintenance was available until 9:00 AM. Room phones were ignored 6 times. After complaining via Expedia, we were moved. The new room had a nice pool view, but the phone was a disconnected "dummy" and the shower hook was broken, leaving the hose on the floor. Moving 5 people was stressful. AVOID.

Unfortunately, our experience at the Pickalbatros Palais des Roses was extremely disappointing, especially as this was meant to be a special stay around my birthday. We paid for an ocean-view room but were initially given a pool-view room. Reception was unhelpful, and even transferring our luggage was unnecessarily delayed. The room had several issues, including soiled towels, no Wi-Fi and significant construction noise directly outside, including work around a lift shaft. We were eventually moved, but the replacement room had faulty air conditioning. What should have been a relaxing stay became a series of complaints and room changes. Most disappointing was how our concerns were handled. Some staff interactions felt rude and condescending rather than helpful. Eventually, the situation deteriorated to the point where we were effectively told to leave. We left at around 00:15 after only one full night, despite booking a longer stay. We then had to arrange alternative accommodation ourselves and pay an additional £26.34 in city tax. I understand that problems happen, but it is how they are handled that matters. The incorrect room, poor conditions, lack of Wi-Fi, construction noise, faulty air conditioning and poor complaint handling made the experience unacceptable. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.
