Great Staff and Convenient Location, but Noise Can Be an Issue Overall, we had a good stay at Kojo Hotel. The staff were excellent—very polite, friendly, and accommodating. We truly appreciated their attentiveness, especially when they arranged to transfer us to a different room after we reported the noise. The hotel is also conveniently located, with plenty of establishments nearby. Unfortunately, noise was a significant downside. We could hear karaoke late into the night, as well as the bass from a nearby nightclub. Moving to another room did make a noticeable difference, and we appreciated the staff’s efforts to help, but the nightclub’s bass was still audible. Overall, the excellent service and convenient location were definite highlights, but guests who are sensitive to noise or light sleepers may want to take this into consideration when booking.

The best resort I have been to in Cebu. Impeccable service and everyone were very polite and courteous. They made me feel such a VIP from getting off the vehicle to checking in and throughout my entire stay. I would like to mention or call the attention of some of the employees: Eh la- Front office Filamer & Johndry ( Azure) Wendell- room service Claire- Saffron Johnny- Conceirge Merba- Housekeeping Kudos to everyone not mentioned especially the gardeners as well. I wished I could have stayed longer. I promise to return and bring guests with me.

This is a beautiful resort, or…was. It’s showing its age. I love the layout, with the open air lobby leading to the pool, cabanas, lawn chairs, and the beach. The pool is great, large, with built in chairs and a kiddie pool. The room was nice, with a decent balcony, a shower stall and a bath tub. The bed and oversized pillows were very comfortable. But the decor felt cheap. The room was an ice box, even when we set the thermostat to 30°c. The TV looked cheap, with its cords just hanging exposed against a plain white wall. There were repairs visible in the bathroom where outdated equipment had been removed. The iron was defective, and so was the replacement they brought. The staff were friendly and helpful, as always in the Philippines. I still feel this wasn’t a five star resort though. 3.5-4 stars for me.

1st night late arrival room BA5 had literally more than 100 ants in the bathroom, the deadbolt did not lock, and the hot water was only warm. We were changed the next day to a very nice lagoon front room with no problems. The only minor disappointment during our stay was that breakfast buffets were only available on weekends, but we were given restaurant credits to make up for it. The staff provided excellent fast service in all circumstances. A must do is to walk around the entire lagoon path and read all the informational signs on the resort's considerable biological diversity. The resorts' views including the accessible spa also suggest what paradise might look like.
