Yucatan Peninsula All inclusive Holidays

Our family of 4 stayed at Fiesta American Cozumel in August. We particularly thought the staff was phenomenal. Everyone was kind, warm, and welcoming. The staff was definitely 5 stars. We also loved the beach. The cabanas and the lounge beds at the edge of the water were fantastic. We spent a lot of time snorkeling, and it was really amazing. We saw so many varieties of colorful tropical fish, an eel, small sting rays, and even one HUGE manta. Diving and snorkeling are our main reasons for vacationing in Cozumel, and I would say the water in front of the resort was one of the best places to snorkel right off the shore. The main reason we didn't feel like this was a 5-star resort was the food. I understand that there are going to be some corners cut when you're at an affordable all-inclusive resort, but the food was sub-par. Portions were generally small and the quality was usually lacking. Some of the food we had was good, but for the most part, the food didn't measure up to other places we've been to on Cozumel. The beachfront aspect of the property was great, but the resort hotel was dated and could use a refresh. Overall, I think it's a good all-inclusive, but next time we will probably stay someplace with better food options for our family. I should mention, we don't drink alcohol. If you are a drinker, then this all-inclusive place would be a fun and economical place to vacation with lots of great cocktails and beers that are included !

Our bellman, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. His attentiveness and friendly personality made every interaction pleasant and effortless. At Blue Moon Restaurant, our waiter, and hostess, stood out for their exceptional service. They were attentive, personable, and genuinely passionate about making every dining experience special. Their enthusiasm and attention to detail were evident, and it was clear that they truly enjoy what they do. The Guest Experience team — Deserves special recognition as well. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. Their warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to accommodate made us feel incredibly blessed throughout our stay. Our massage therapists, provided an experience that was both professional and relaxing. Their skill, care, and attention made the massages great! We left with wonderful memories.

Great place for a 4 day vacation plan to take some time to do their presentation supper nice they try not to push it on you but they really do

Great Staff. Great Location. Amazing Food.

We have been visiting Playa del Carmen for over twenty years. The Royal Hideaway was our go to spot for many of those stays. After spending a week there recently I must report that it’s seen better days. The resort is seriously outdated. The rooms and restaurants need complete updating as does their obsolete way of reserving tables in one of the restaurants. But, the grounds are still beautiful, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The food was not as good as in the past both in taste, presentation and variety. This is an all adult hotel and my wife and I are early sixties. Lets just say the other guests made us feel young. This is definitely not a party spot, but it is decidedly quiet. Of course the sargassum comes and goes and they did a great job getting rid of what they could get to onshore. When it’s clear the beach is still wide and beautiful!

We love the layout of the resort. But were a little disappointed with the service this trip. We had trouble with our room phone, which made it difficult to order room service. Several of the restaurants werent open, so we were limited on choices. No hot water for the shower in our room. Our swim out pool was always dirty and full of bugs and the wifi was terrible. The staff was very nice as always. The resort is remodeling so it was somewhat noisy during the day.

Our trip was just what we needed. Friendly staff, great room beautiful place! The only thing was the food. We thought it was just ok. I’ve been to Cancun many times usually at the Westin or a nice place in Riviera Maya or near Isla anyway, the food was lacking a bit. Just not as great as you can get out - and I’m talking basics like tacos carne asada - their tamales at breakfast were quite dry. But the hotel was fabulous as was everyone we encountered!
