I loved how the rooms were actual separate lodges, so it felt very private. The grounds were stunning and lush. Beds super soft and comfy and a/c strong and cold. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Loved every minute of my stay

We stayed in the Noah's Hideaway section of the Noah's Forest by Tifakara property, which is very new (opened in 2026). Truly spectacular. They spared no expense on all aspects of the villa, gorgeous (and notable) villla door, smart everything, integrated speakers, infinity pool/tub, 18 head shower, automated bidet, immaculate lighting, all in all, absolutely spectacular. And the rest of the details didn't disappoint either, delicious breakfast, very helpful staff for checking in (and very nice open air "lobby"). Would/will easily recommend this property to others.

Our family of five stayed (kids ages 14,17,21) for five nights. It was an incredible villa for our stay in Tamarindo. The hosts were easy to communicate with through Expedia and WhatsApp. We rented a golf cart for one day, which was very easy to do. The Langosta Beach Club was fantastic and we went almost every day. If you see Kevin on the beach, he’s your guy for tours. We did an atv tour and a kayak tour. Masa Madre had delicious breakfast and Little Lucha had a great menu as well. There is also a market not far from the villa. Just a note, if you have mobility issues or young children, the walk into town may be more difficult for you. It was fine for us with our big kids. We would highly recommend this place!

If you want to be right in the middle of nature and wildlife this is the place to go. Most of the resort is raised up into the treetops so you can be eye level with creatures you'd usually only see way above you from the ground. The included hikes and birdwatching were wonderful with very knowledgeable and passionate guides. We also arranged a day trip to Corcovado by boat through the lodge in advance, seems pricey at first but was well worth it. Over the course of a week we saw sloths (lodge & Corcovado), monkeys (everywhere), tapirs (Corcovado), ant eaters (lodge and Corcovado), coatis (lodge), frogs and lizards (lodge) and so many different birds (everywhere). We chose a forest bungalow room which is just screened in from the outside. I was a bit worried the lack of AC might make it too hot to sleep, but at the end of April the fans in the room were enough to keep us comfortable over night. No need for alarm clocks, the howler monkeys will get you up every day. Overall a fantastic nature focused lodge that combines the ability to relax with adventure.

Kevin the manager is AMAZING!!!... Everything you see in the pictures are accurate but are even better in person. Go there if you get the chance, the staff is amazing, location is too, right on the river... Just go and enjoy what they have to offer.

It was very easy to communicate with management if I had any request. The place is quiet, has fresh air and beautiful view over the mountain.

Very friendly and welcoming stop close to SJO. Very characterful, the rooms are large with a great view over the valley. The extensive grounds have great walking trails - we saw an agouti - for early morning walks and a hummingbirds visible from the breakfast restaurant and the jacuzzi next to the swimming pool. Staff are very helpful and friendly, food was good.
