The cooking demo was excellent making Kondova - delicious Unfortunately very few sun beds under the cabanas. Some staff need a little more training. Our appetizer came before our wine & when the main course arrived before we sent it back. Also limited knowledge on a classic martini. "Check in was disappointing. Was told numerous times checking was at 3pm , which I knew. Reception didnt offer to hold 1 suitcase whilst we had lunch & waited for check in. Reception told us there was no 'shuttle' from resort to park. Was requested to show reception where it mentions shuttle bus on website. I found this extremely rude & condescending. I found proof & showed reception. I didnt receive an apology. I was fortunate enough to be able check in before 3pm."
"As soon as we stepped onto the boat we were greeted with a big smile from the wonderful Manager of Naqalia Lodge. Everyone there made us feel so welcome and treated us like family. There were two rules at Naqalia Lodge: 1. Eat as much as you can and 2. Wake up every day with a happy face. Pretty easy considering the outlook from our bungalow, the variety of delicious food and the beautiful, happy people who run Naqalia Lodge. The accomodation is basic so don’t come here if you are precious....
"The staff are incredible. Sail went above and beyond to get me here and everyone is so welcoming. They remember names and where everyone is from. I don’t know how they do it but I have never met a more welcoming people than those in Fiji, especially here. They have snorkel gear, kayaks and paddle boards ready to be taken out at anytime.
