Costa Rica All inclusive Holidays

The location to La Fortuna was great, large room with a beautifully manicured yard and outdoor hot rub which we used. The room is dated. The bar and pools were nice. Room however smelled strongly of mildew/mold. I feel like it was overpriced.

Our stay at Barceló Playa Tambor was okay overall. We traveled with a group, so we joined the trip, but otherwise this would not have been my first choice. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an ocean-view room, which was a nice upgrade. However, the room smelled stuffy, as if the windows hadn't been opened in a long time. The food was average. It seemed like some of the menu items were repurposed into different dishes toward the end of our stay, which wasn't very appealing. On our last night, I got sick and went to the front desk to request housekeeping because I needed my sheets changed. They told me someone would come, but no one ever showed up. That was very disappointing, especially when I wasn't feeling well. The highlight of our stay was the service from the restaurant staff. The servers were friendly, attentive, and provided good service throughout our visit. The grounds are beautiful but need a bit more maintenance.

Stayed here a week, our first time in Costa Rica. Great location if you’re looking for the surf town vibe, breakfast buffet was good- staff seemed a little lacking in customer service at times but we found a couple who were gems! Beach side of resort has different vibe than the location across the street. Much quieter on that side. Enjoyed our experience and would come back. The excursions and hotel transportation we booked were cheaper NOT booked through the resort.

The property was beautiful the staff, thehotel guest, and just everyone on the property was so nice. It was so relaxing and a nice place to reset. Carlos was amazing with activities and speaking positivity to you. The food was very delicious and fulfilling. The Coffee and Tea Bar was exceptional. I will be returning.
