Tired old building. Room was poor, broken fixtures & fittings. Arrived at midnight & left at 9, room only. Served a purpose but wouldnt

Beautiful hotel and gardens with a bar and restaurant on-site. We had a lovely time wandering the grounds with a cocktail and even felt a bit like royalty. A breakfast buffet was included and had great options. The rooms are a little older and dated - it was hot in the room - because I don’t think we had a/c - but they were very clean and the beds were comfortable. (Make sure you check out the hotel museum in the basement - it’s really interesting!

Room we had was getting a bit tired Drawer units were showing signs of wear on the edges. Both chairs were threadbare on arms and along the top of the back. Bathroom sink had 6 inch curved crack in it Room number 69

We have stayed at the Fairmont St Andrews twice and both times were fantastic. The staff are super helpful and professional. The views are spectacular and the entire hotel is extremely clean. We will definitely return again.

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very friendly and informed us of everything about the hotel. We had a lovely garden room which had a lovely view of the hotel gardens. The room was very spacious and had everything you required eg. Tea and coffee machine facilities, iron and ironing board, toiletries and plenty of storage. The bar had a great selection of drinks. The breakfast facilities were excellent they had a buffet for cereals, pastures, toast and fruit. Hot breakfast was served by staff. The staff in all areas of the hotel were all very pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would certainly recommend a stay at this hotel.
