(19 reviews) This is an apartment in a standard old 3 story Montreal building. Very representative of typical downtown Montreal living. But beware - these places have little or no soundproofing. You will hear every footstep of the people above you, and the voices next door. This was OK for much of our stay but we were unlucky the first night, when people upstairs, including children, were walking and running almost continually until 1am, preventing sleep. But the other nights were not so bad. There is a lot of space, a good kitchen, and a bus stop to central Montreal right outside. And it is in an area with many nice cafes, restaurants, and tiny unique shops. The hotel is a 20-ish minute walk to Old Montreal and just a couple of blocks to the Underground, and 15-ish minutes walk to Bell Centre. Very close to the Metro stations. One bus ride from YUL, then a few blocks walk - very easy. The restaurant Henri is delicious. There are also several less expensive food options in walking distance. A wonderful hotel.
