Belgium Adults Only Holidays

This is a difficult review to write I've stayed here many times and it has always been superb. Welcoming, well maintained, excellent engaging staff and a good bar and restaurant. I came here with my wife for 4 nights and had booked a studio which has cooking facilities. We were allocated a studio that faces the hotel and not the river, but this straight away revealed some issues specifically for me. I have some mobility limitations and found that the bed was on a small enclosed mezzanine floor up a very narrow set of stairs. This was had to get up and down. The bed was also positioned so that if I or my wife wanted to go to the loo in the middle of the night, we would have to climb over the other one, then negotiate the death stairs amd try not to fall. The cupboards were very dusty and we managed to get loads on our clean clothes. No real issue but a little frustrating. But the key issue for us was the hotel seemed to always have a private function on that meant the bar and restaurant were closed off to hotel guests. That became a real issue for me and certainly spoilt what should have been a great stay. It sadly has reached a point where I will look for alternative hotels the next time. This time I didnt feel welcome.

This is in the perfect location and I couldn’t say enough about how great this place is. The owners genuinely care and go out of there way to make sure you have a good stay. Breakfast was great and the rooms a clean and comfortable.
