Fabulous stay ! After original confusion of room category, which the team handles exceptionally well (thank you !) we had the most wonderful stay. Spent most of our time poolside, great service and wonderful vibes pre carnival. Reception and concierge team always present and welcoming and warm. Truly amazing had everything I had, good area and didn’t feel unsafe at all

I had a wonderful time at the Marriot in Rio. The service was impeccable from the standard of the rooms and concierge to the excellent roof top and beach service . Especially the guys on parking who organised a round trip for me to the HSBC areana to watch the Arctic Monkeys . A driver was organised for me who waited all night to bring me back.

Great hotel in central Copacabana, near beach and restaurants. Big breakfast and comfy beds. The staff were friendly, and very welcoming on reception :)

Went with my 2 sons to experience Rio. Hotel is in a great location in the centre of Copacabana. Some of the rooms are looking shabby and dated but they are aware of this and refurbs are underway. All the hotel staff including reception, porters, waiters and maids are brilliant and friendly and polite. Cannot praise them enough.

The best of the 4 hotels we stayed in during our visit to Rio. The only one that wasn’t full of mosquitoes ☺️ lovely rooftop pool made it feel like a holiday vs hostel.. good air conditioning too.

Good flexibility wheelchair and bathroom

The staff are excellent, I have stayed in Novotels in other countries and without a doubt the staff in Rio de Janeiro will go that extra mile to make your stay comfortable, excellent. The hotel is clean and the food is good. If you are wanting a beach holiday then this hotel is not the one, 40 minutes away from Coco Cabana and with the traffic it took 2 hours, however it is cheap to get taxis.
