"Outstanding room, beautiful surroundings, aesthetic architecture, excellent breakfast and very helpful staff - always ready to provide the best service available."
"What a great place! I would give it 10 stars if I could. We visited several hotels including a 4star hotel on our tour through southern Spain but this was the best by far. Excellent! The staff is great. The tapas in the restaurant were great but most of all the super clean, spacious and very well decorated rooms and bathrooms. Rvery part of the building is inviting, clean and close to parking I hope to come back in the future!"
"Have been to this hotel a number of times and never been disappointed. The hotel is situated in a lovely elevated position with views. Staff are so friendly and helpful, will we stay again, most definitely.
"
"Amazing stay! Lovely room, nice decor. Private patio area which we weren't expecting. Lovely friendly staff. Way better than we expected. One word of warning, don't shut the door to the patio area when you are outside ... only opens from the inside !"
"My 2nd stay at Casa Aura and again it was completely faultless. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and so tastefully designed down to every detail. The staff are extremely helpful and went out of their way to organise airport transfers for me. Restaurants and shops are within a few minutes walk and the town is unspoiled and stunning. I highly recommend Casa Aura- you won’t find anywhere better in Vejer and won’t have any regrets if you book here. "

10/10 Excellent
"Really nice hotel, excellent facilities, great entertainment for kids. Evening shows were ok. Buffet restaurant pricey for the quality. Car parking fee extortionate"
"My wife and I loved this hotel, we stayed half board for 5 nights. The gardens are beautiful, the food at the Buffett is delicious, staff are friendly and helpful. The food in dinner Buffett had a daily these and the quality was beyond any other hotels I have stayed at in Europe. There are 5 pools and plenty of sun beds. You can get great cocktails in the hotel bars. You can walk to the beach where there are several other bars. After 5 days we are very relaxed and happy we booked this hotel. "
"Beautiful resort. Close to the beach. Good food. Great room. Bad pillow but matress very comfortable. I only stayed a night so i had a cheaper room with no view but everything was great and staff very nice!"
"Nice resort style hotel. Excellent pool. Close to zahara. Decent gym. Breakfast great.
A couple of annoying things:
1. Parking cost 20 euro per day. This is a lot in my opinion. Plenty of parking options just outside of the hotel. No one mentioned the cost of parking to us on arrival.
2. Costs of drinks at the bar. A tiny bottle of water and a soft drink was 7.40. Feels expensive.
The have “special” beds around the pool that are almost always empty yet they are taking a lot of prime space.
Personally I am not a big fan of dividing hotel guests into different classes when all staying in the same hotel. But for some this might be a plus.
Those are small things. Overall the hotel is lovely and rooms are decent size and the facilities are very good "
"Lovely hotel, great staff, great facilities food was fantastic with loads of variety well located for a bit of sightseeing and culture, really enjoyed our stay! "
The most popular time to visit Zahora is in July, when the sun shines brightly and the beaches come alive with visitors. During this peak season, which stretches from June to August, temperatures typically soar to around 30°C, making it great for sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying outdoor activities along the stunning coastline.
As you plan your trip, be prepared for a vibrant atmosphere, as this is when the town's restaurants and beach bars are bustling with activity. With the warm weather, you can indulge in water sports or take leisurely strolls along the shore, soaking in the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean. The long daylight hours provide plenty of time for sightseeing, making it ideal for exploring local attractions such as the nearby natural parks and charming villages.
For those looking for a quieter experience, consider visiting in late September or October. These months offer milder temperatures, usually around 25°C, and a more relaxed vibe. You can still enjoy the beach, but without the summer crowds, allowing for a more personal connection to the area. Plus, accommodation prices tend to be lower, providing excellent value for those who appreciate quality without breaking the bank.
