"This hotel is simply great. Rooms are super clean, modern and quiet. The breakfast buffet is extraordinary with many options to chose from. I had a room upgrade because of my status in Expedia and they gave me a room with a great view to the Bund a bottle of wine. Location is excellent mid Nanjing Road so you can take walks anytime you like, shopping and close to metro station East Nanjing Rd - so you can move anywhere with ease. This was previously the Sofitel Hotel but I think now its even better. Staff super friendly. I extended my stay in Shanghai in this specific hotel (had other options) for the reasons mentioned above. Will definitely come back!"

"Excellent hotel. Reception staff very helpful and good languages. Very good location opposite peoples park and on Nanjing road. The peoples park metro is opposite the hotel so easy transfer from PVG airport (Line 2 or Maglev and Line 2). Taxi's also easy from / to hotel. The hotel has a large indoor pool and and an outside decking area for Europeans wishing to sunbath. Mornings are best. Hotel rooms very good in terms of size, furniture etc. Maid service also very good. The hotel has a roof top bar, which is good for views etc. Its a very nice hotel and fully justifies the rating particularly with the excellent staff. Travelled as a leisure couple from London. "

"Great 2 night stay, rooms was clean and quiet, two convenient stores and subway nearby. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, bonus for the fresh fruits, but I do not recommend the bacon, it smelled bad and tasted bad. "

"Love the location of this hotel! It’s a short 3mins walk to Nanjing Road and the Metro Station. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My family and I have nothing but praises for this hotel!
