"Our room was very comfortable. The entrance and stairs needs updating. Unfortunately the lift was broken for most of our week away. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very good quality."

Right on the Seafront
"This hotel has definately gone down since it was taken over. Our evening meal was a ready meal cottage pie nothing home cooked. Price for this was not cheap neither were the bar drinks which we drank in semi-gloom as they did not seem to want to put the lights on! Family running it were friendly ..."

So nice and relaxing. Very friendly efficient staff. Felt very welcome and due to circumstances had to spend most of 2 days sat on the balcony bar looking out to the sea with only drink and bar snacks for comfort. By bar snacks I mean a decent menu available. It was difficult but we managed it with the aid of the brilliant bar staff. Couldn’t fault that bit as they were so attentive. Could have done without the car trouble and swollen knee, but the surroundings made it manageable. The weekend was really hot but room cool with a nice through breeze, which is great as we can’t stand air con. Would highly recommend it. Thanks Burlington! Looking forward to the next time.
