"Have heard nlt so good things about this hotel in the past but this is the first time I have stayed. It has new owners and well I must say they are turning it around. The price was very competitive and this included breakfast which was very good. The room was a little dated but was very clean, the bathroom is brand new and very clean and modern. The staff were very friendly. We didnt eat apart from breakfast so cant comment on the resteraunt other than the breakfast. We would stay again, also...

"This is a lovely B&B very conveniently located within walking distance to town where there are cute shops and very nice dining options. "We absolutely loved our stay at the Steadings! Was a random find on hotels.com and we’re so glad we found it! Really good price for the time of year (December) - we booked in May (roughly). It was decorated for Christmas, and had everything we needed. A rare find but total treat! Would definitely come back and recommend! The only negatives would be the hottub not being covered - this is due to be rectified! And the road down to the lodge is very bumpy - a typical farm road! Make sure you follow...

"It's a student hall of residence so amenities and decor are very basic as expected, but you can't complain for the price, especially in the centre of St. Andrews in high season! A bargain really. Minor gripes - the shared bathroom(s) have very loud electric hand dryers that sound like a vacuum cleaner and can be heard several rooms away.. The lights in the corridors and bathrooms are extremely bright, in the blueish spectrum and permanently on, so not conducive to maintaining melatonin levels if...

"First time in Pittenweem. The flat was small but we didn’t need anything bigger. Space had been used carefully and was well furnished. When the wood burning stove got going it made for a cosy experience. Pleasant seafront area nearby and Anstruther is only half a mile or so away. St. Andrews is about 20 minutes by car. Well worth a short visit (three nights for us)."

"The apartment is very comfortable with all you need. Well presented and spotlessly clean throughout. Within a minutes walk from Pittenweem harbour, with parking on the street outside. The terrace looking straight out to sea and the Isle of May is wonderful and we enjoyed drinks in the sunshine as we were fortunate with the weather for the end of April. We would thoroughly recommend the apartment - a cut above as my mother in law used to say."
