"The staff was accommodating, we had asked a couple days before for an early check-in. When we arrived we could have checked in with a $50.00 fee which we declined. The buffet breakfast was very good, hotel was quiet. Our restaurant on was quite spacious with a great view of the harbour. The room was clean, an eventual paint job would be in order."

"A Hyatt package came up and I decided to book it but as a longtime Accor loyalist, I didn’t expect much. I was blown away! The room was perfect, quiet, the amenities were great, and the location was fantastic. I walked everywhere or took the train. The best part, though, was the staff. They were warm, polite, and genuinely kind. Everything I needed was met with a “no problem.” I felt heard, seen, and truly valued. Carl and Ahmoud were amazing and went out of their way to make my stay incredible. Not once was I met with annoyance or anything negative — just smiles and kindness from every staff member I encountered. They honestly made me want to be a better person — that’s how exceptional the service was. I will absolutely be back!"

"Very comfortable hotel, lovely large room and all very clean. Good breakfast and excellent evening meals in the restaurant and the bar. Quite noisy late at night on Pitt Street so some double glazing there would be a help. Would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again."

"We had a couple of unresolved issues which we will deal with when home. The room was not representative of the pictures, the bed base was torn, side cabinets worn, the gas hob dangerous..too many to mention. It certainly didn't come under the "premium" category. The staff were uninterested, lacking enthusiasm. Bottom line, stay away from this hotel as it is not nice and ruined a part of our holiday because we had to find alternative accommodation. We can recommend 'The Meriton' where we stayed prior to the Yehs and that's where we returned. The two hotels have the same star rating, but are at opposite ends of the scale. Take my advice and say 'NO' to the Yehs because it is a shoddy dump. "
