Fantastic location, house, and host.
Easy walking distance to everything in downtown Sydney. The unit is very well-appointed, clean, comfortable, and historic. The host went out of her way to make sure that all of our needs were met. We couldn't have been more happy with our stay!

Perfect Sydney location
We all loved our stay here. It was so close to all that we wanted to do. Sam was a great host, meeting us a check in, giving us great tips as where to go, always available when we need her. I would highly recommend this house.

It is a lovely quirky property. There were six adults however the living room area is very small. The property is more suitable for 5 adults as one bedroom is extremely small. In fairness the property does state 5 people. Overall the location is the bonus here. The host was very welcoming.

Great location
The location is great, near Circular Quay, the Opera House, and public transportation. Sam was a great host, and very helpful. As far as the apartment, the living area was a little crowded. It would seat more than 4 but would be a little crowded. The one issue for us seniors was that all 3 bedrooms were on the 2nd floor which had 2 landings. So it was easier to leave our luggage downstairs which made it a little more crowded. Also, there are 5 steps then 2 steps to get into the apartment. But all in all, the location was the best.

Wonderful getaway
Sam’s house is ideally located to enjoy the sights of Sydney. Its walking distance to major attractions, Circular Quay and restaurants made it an ideal stopover for a quick holiday. Sam was a wonderful host with lots of recommendations for us. The house was full of character, was clean and well outfitted. A true gem!

Great apartment, slow aircon
Upscale apartment in high end area. Loved Port Douglas. Clean, good views, as advertised. Only two small issues - A/C was slow to cool the unit but over time worked well, unit sits at the crest of a sloping hill so walking into town requires a steep walk back.
