"Brand new hotel in a convenient location - easy walking distance to the station and the cathedral. Parking arrangements in the nearby Forum multi-storey worked well. Staff especially helpful while getting used to the new facility themselves. Quality of food excellent both at breakfast and for all-day dining in the ground floor open plan restaurant. Prices above average but value for money in terms of quality. We came here for the Three Choirs Festival and were pleased to find a good quality hotel within easy distance to and from the Cathedral. We were given an accessible room with additional facilities to accommodate someone with mobility issues. 5 Stars all round."

"Unexpectedly an excellent nights sleep for a young family. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it was clean, well maintained, had very welcoming staff & Yorkshire tea in the rooms. The curtains were heavy black out, the windows kept the noise out, the mattress felt new and supportive & a fan was provided for the heat. My child slept & wasn’t woken up by daylight, traffic noise, the stifling heat or worries about cleanliness. Plus they could have a bath. Win."

"We had bed and reakfast, very good value. Good location right in the heart of Hereford and close to the Cathedral. Parking at the rear of the hotel is limited. Very nice breakfast and staff were wonderful."

"We had a standard room which was suitably spacious for a comfortable stay. The check in process was simple and straight forward. Guest who book on Expedia (or other we sites) are required to pay £15 for spa access, whereas direct book guest pay £10 for the same service. The spa is nice, but it’s a bit small. It wasn’t very busy so I had no issues whatsoever. But if it’s busier be aware: the sauna and steam room fits 2-3 people only, the whirlpool is suitable for 4 people. The pool is very spacious though and there’s plenty of indoor loungers to facilitate comfort when it’s cooler outside. The golf course nearby is well maintained and offers a good 18 hole course, that hotel guests can utilise at a reduced green fee of £25 per person. The buffet breakfast is delicious and offers everything one could want, including a good selection of gluten free items (kept apart from the rest of baked goods) and a choice of non-dairy milks. The only thing I would have liked to see (for the cherry on top) is a smart tv that allows for guests to sign into their own Prime or Netflix accounts. One thing to note is that although WiFi coverage in the hotel is excellent, mobile phone reception is terrible in the general area. So if you’re planning to work, you’re bound to areas that the hotel WiFi covers well enough."

"Bed was lovely and comfortable. Room was very nice. Struggling to get in and out of the shower. Staff on the whole were lovely but felt there was an atmosphere of discontentment amongst staff. Food expensive with service charge added without giving us the opportunity to say no. Rats running around the skip outside. Needs a general paint job outside. Leaving on a positive the breakfast was lovely."
