"This is a mixed review. From the pictures given on expedia you are expecting a large hotel. It is not, it is a terraced house with multiple rooms in a run down area but having said that, the host was lovely, the property although needs work, is clean and tidy and very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the tea/coffee and biscuits were a very nice addition. It has a large smart TV which has a great reception. I was pleasantly surprised"

this is a great option for a visit to Durham if you are prepared to stay outside of the city. Best value for money I have experienced in a long time . Breakfast fantastic something you would pay in excess of £12 in other accommodation Sonia and the rest of her staff are very welcoming . There is only one place I will be staying should I visit the area in the future

Fab little guest house, stayed for shopping and a night out. Few minutes from metro, £8-10 in a taxi to city centre. Spotlessly clean. And Kim the owner was so accommodating! beds so comfy I had my first long lie in ages!! Would recommend!

I visited Willance House with my partner a few years ago, and said we'd definitely go back if we needed to stay in the area again. They are a fountain of knowledge of the local area and it is such a special place to stay. There are lots of little touches that make this place stand out - for example fresh milk for your room every day, little books to read by the window seat, a...
