"I stayed here with my partner for a wedding. I got here around midday and fro that point onward everything was fantastic. All of the staff here were so friendly and accommodating, even arranging taxis for us and then keep an eye on them to arrive while we had a beer. We got back around midnight and had a chat with the owner, who again was really friendly. The room was super clean, fresh and cosy. The bed was big and the sheets were really crisp! "Marvellous large room with a similarly large lounge, with 2 sofas and a large TV, plus a decent bathroom. Was slightly noisy early in the evening but that stopped around 11. Very friendly staff who were very keen to help. Just a shame I couldn’t have stayed their for longer!"

"This was our second stay at the Moorcock and we will definitely be back. The owners and staff are really friendly . The room was clean and had a great view out the front . We ate in the pub every night and the food was great . Had a lovely steak and chips and a good roast dinner . My partner had a burger one night and it was massive and tasty. All the food was piping hot. The views from the pub garden are wonderful . Don't hesitate to book at this property . "

"The place is absolutely stunning and we loved the secret door in particular. The fact there was some basic provisions when we arrived was super. The size of the apartment was much bigger than expected, and the decor, although a bit dated was in keeping with the property. The local village was quaint and we enjoyed a meal and drinks at the local pub one night."
