Death in the family....

My trip was a return for a death in the family. The staff treated wife and I with such a positive attitude that aided us through our time of grievement. I appreciated their consistent and professional service. DMT, LTC USA (RET)!!

Great hotel close to Wake Forest University

Pros: It was very convenient to Wake Forest University.
We were extremely happy with our experience. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The food at the Bistro was good. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Loud and smelly

Pros: Location; front desk staff.
Cons: More handicap accessible rooms, away from the kitchen. Improve ventilation and sound proofing
Location: Good Italian restaurant, Elizabeth's Italian Kitchen, five minutes away.
It might just have been the room, which was the only handicap accessible they had. It was directly behind the bar and across from the kitchen. It was loud (I could hear the radio, the staff as they closed up around midnight and when the morning shift came in, around 5:00). The kitchen smells were overpowering; during clean up, I wondered if they were cleaning out the grease trap. There was also an exhaust vent outside the window, and the fumes from that were equally overpowering. Although the place is conveniently located, I will not stay there again. I feel I paid way too much for way too little. And maybe the rest of the rooms are fine; I can only judge by my experience. Avoid room 133.

Very clean, nice rooms, bed was super comfy. The area was a little scetchy but I felt completely safe there. Plenty of lights and the staff was on top of things. Very atentative

Improve Restuarant

I like the idea of having a restaurant in the hotel but it's not good when the restaurant is consistently out of stock of their own menu. It becomes very disappointing and can ruin a night when you turn down going out to eat for the restaurant and then they don't have what's offered on the menu.

Nice spot after the a drive thru tornado warning

Overnight stop on the way to a wedding. Bistro had nice food for late night arrivals and breakfast "made to order" hit the spot for the road.

Nice desk clerk!

The desk clerk was excellent we checked in at 1pm on 9-2 I wish I could remember her name she was phenomenal she made us feel so welcome and let us check in a little early!

GREAT location very comfortable hotel

Pros: comfort and cleanliness
Cons: breakfast should be included. and the bar Bistro should be open all day considering there is nothing around to grab a coffee or a snack
i was comfortable and i got spacious room. i like courtyard by Marriot cuase wherever you go you know what you'll get for the price and amenities and comfort.
