The room was excellent value when I booked so I wasn't expecting such a good quality hotel. Everything went well, from accessing the car park to getting a room with a bath as requested to enjoying a drink in the sociable lounge.
We were upgraded to a disabled room which was large and comfortable. The hotel grounds were ideal for walking and the whole atmosphere was one of peace and quiet
lovely spot in a quiet location off the beaten track. Good breakfast - the usual English breakfast. WOverall a great spot for an overnight. Can get here easily with your own car- on very narrow lanes.
