"Clean, quiet, comfortable but horrible breakfast"
I stayed here for a week in August 2015. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I had the best sleep I've ever had in a hotel, and the room was very clean. I was disappointed that there was no safe for my valuables nor a microwave. The standard room with two double beds did have a coffee maker and a mini-fridge. There was a TV with cable and On Demand, but only very limited free programming. I couldn't order a movie for my son to watch.
The coffee was really bad, even in the very pleasant Italian restaurant. Lavazza, anyone? There was no continental breakfast, which for the price I really felt should be included. The buffet was all right if you liked tasteless French toast and pancakes, unsalted eggs, potatoes without onion or seasoning, and frozen brown-n-serve sausages. I was really horrified. The dinner menu was much better. The food was good, but I wouldn't say it was excellent, although another guest I spoke to who stayed there regularly raved about how good it was. For the price, the portions were small and again there was a lack of flavor, though everything was fresh and well-prepared at dinner time. It is a good place for kids, as they have pasta, pizza, chicken, etc.
The pool looked very nice, although I never got a chance to swim in it. The fitness room is small but out in the garden which is a nice change. You can look at the trees and plants while exercising. The restaurant has a lovely outside sitting area on a big verandah also overlooking the garden.
