Old musty and damp

Posted 08-Sep-2016 on Hotels
The first broom was a smoking room and when I asked the gentleman up at the front I asked him if it was a smoking room and he said no but the whole upstairs smells like smoke. However he did accommodate me and got me a room on the first floor in which it smelled musty and damp. My 14 year old daughter was crying because she didnt want to stay there.

Mediocre stay but good for pets

Posted 29-Aug-2016 on Hotels
The room felt incredibly damp, despite having the air on. My clothes that I had set out over night felt damp in the morning, it was not pleasant. The bed was not very comfortable; it was a king bed for my husband and I, they only gave us 2 small pillows. We were passing through Wichita on our way to Dallas, so it was fine for a one night/non vacation stay but I would likely not stay here again. I did appreciate that they allow pets for a small charge, that was great.

Bad Hotel, there was mold on the walls and it was very humid. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and sheets were damp and so was the carpet. It had a bad Oder as well.

This hotel was fine. The pool was nice for the kids. Very small, but it worked. I have no complaints

Nice indoor pool. Kids loved it and it was raining so they were still able to burn off some energy. There were a few ants but not anything crazy we still stayed the night.

It was like staying in a third world motel in the USA. To start with the lights were burned out in the pool area so we weren't able to swim which is one reason we picked this motel. It was near family so we didn't eat at the breakfast provided but the coffee was awful. The pillows we uncomfortable, the refrigerator hummed loudly, and spiders everywhere, etc, etc. Will spend a little extra next time and stay better

We stayed here two years ago and liked it enough to go back. The place has been updated with some new tile, fresh paint, etc. Our room was very clean, including the bathroom (which I am always a bit wary of in hotels), staff is very friendly and accommodating. My daughter wanted to swim one morning, so we ended up walking into the breakfast room about 10 minutes before 10:00 (the end of breakfast) while the manager was starting to clean up. He asked if she wanted a waffle and proceeded to make it for her himself. The pool is a bit small, but made my daughter and niece perfectly happy.

Disappointed

We stayed here in our move from Wisconsin to Texas. Rated 3+ on hotels.com. Definately wood not give it over 1. Rooms were old, facets not even connected to counters or walls. Stairwells dirty. Breakfast was typical contential stuff. Neighborhood was questionable. Would not recommend to others. Maybe stay closer to town

The hotel had a funny smell to it. When we got in our room the smell was of a wet dog...smell so bad. Thank goodness for frebreze!! There was no chair in the room, well an office chair...but the bed was the only thing to sit on and that wasn't even comfortable. The bathroom was nice, but the shower curtain wasn't long enough, water was all over the floor.

BAD smell!

Checkin slow. Room smelled like a dead squirrel was in there. Bed uncomfortable. Fridge was noisy. Breakfast was OK. Room was quiet even with a bunch of kids in sports staying there.
