We took bikes too and whilst I wouldn't want to take the kids on bikes on the country roads surrounding it, there was plenty of space for cycling round the grounds themselves - we cycled to the lake and did some pond dipping. "A superb cottage for a family preferring a quiet location with great views, but close to many places of interest. Tastefully decorated throughout, comfortable furniture and a fabulous bathroom. Friendly owner greeted us upon arrival. The children had fun in the drop-level garden playing ball games."
