"Very relaxing, surrounded by nature and with a hike to waterfalls just 5 minutes walk to. The surf spot was amazing and surrounded by beautiful views, beaches wore clean and had restaurants and campgrounds, basically everything you need for a vacation."

"Most definitely a 5* hotel. Super quick check in, my suitcase taken to my room, no wait times for a lift - there are many. Staff friendly and very efficient. Great location opposite Auckland International Airport."

"Overall the room was clean, staff that worked there were kind to talk too, but we had no hot water for two days stay which was not ideal as we had to take an overseas flight the next day and the porter we had to ask him to help with luggage did not even offer knowing that we were two old ladies. Shocking that this happens in hospitality industry."

"We stayed in room 88. The bed was horrible I could feel the springs coming through the mattress the floor was so moulded it was sinking in places and the door frames were rotten and falling apart you could smell the mildew in the hall ways and room. The sliding door to the patio was so hard to open due to it being so old and the patio was rotting away and covered in spiders. If I wasn't so exhausted from travel and it being 9pm with a 4 am flight I would not have stayed. I definitely do not recommend. Only gave 2 stars because the staff at the desk were so friendly and the convenience of the airport shuttle."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The room had a bad smell when we arrived. The staff sorted it out while we had dinner. We’ve stayed at this hotel many times before. However we were disappointed with the dinner menu and the food. The bed was very uncomfortable and we didn’t get a good sleep."
