"I was disappointed with the Tropicana Hotel, when I checked out of it, because they charged me an extra $39.34 for state tax that was not listed in the original price, in addition to the actual price that was listed for the room. I felt that was deceptive and I have never had that happen with any other hotel in Atlantic City. My suggestion is that Tropicana list all of the fees that it includes or incurs so that there are no surprises at the end. However, hotel was beautiful and well maintained."

"The room was clean and housekeeping was very good. The only small complaint is that the person checking us in wasn’t very helpful and was too busy chatting with another employee. They didn’t explain anything about wifi or how to use your room key to access the elevator etc… We found others who weren’t aware how to use their cards. The facility was clean, very bright and welcoming. They have a 24 hour food store that was convenient but very expensive. AC as a whole was disappointing so if you gamble and plan to stay indoors then Caesar’s is great. It’s the middle of the the boards and you can walk to other girls within a mile of each other. If you plan to walk the boards then expect to be very disappointed with many stores & the mall closed and even beggars, addicts and homeless sleeping on benches. The smells were horrifying."

"Hotel was lovely. Staff was helpful and quickly checked in a long line of people arriving at the same time. Very impressive. Room was large, very clean and exactly the right temperature. Large windows faced the park with a beautiful view. The breakfast was tasty and the restaurant was well staffed and friendly. The complementary wine at 5pm in the lobby was just what we needed before heading off to dinner. My only disappointment was that we were very excited to have a drink on the roof top bar, but it was closed for a ticketed event. I believe it was some kind of dance party because the music played very loudly until around 11pm."

"I thought the room and hotel was clean. The elevators situation were to slow. Don't know why we had to pay extra to park in the garage, That should be free since we are renting the room and also, since we have to strip the beds down and make sure that the rooms are cleaned up. But, everything else seemed fine."
