"The property is location in a beautiful country setting. Very impressive modern home. Well decorated, super clean and great beds. We were on a business trip but this home would be great for a family vacation in fact probably two family could stay at one time since there are so many rooms and beds. Very private huge yard which would be great for BBQs in the summer or anytime. The house is well stocked as well. It was just great. I feel it was the best rental unit we have stayed in over the years....

"As always, the rooms are super comfortable. The bed gave us a great night's sleep and we woke up refreshed. The staff at the Empress, including all housekeeping and maintenance go out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. This was our third or fourth stay at the Empress, and every time we are here we feel like we're at our second home - what could be better?"

"Booked a suite with 2 queens that were in separate spaces.The additional privacy of a bedroom was perfect and we felt it was good value given the amount of room in the suite. Staff were friendly and professional. Loved that they loaned guests umbrellas for a rainy evening dash to the local restaurants. Would definitely book again."

I stay here when in Victoria

"I like the location and the fact there is a bus stop 1 minute from hotel.Staff is really nice and helpful. You can rent an e-bike or kayak for free (well, included in accommodation price) or play pool/billiard. Breakfast is not very rich, but it is sufficient."
