The hotel is situated 5 minutes from the West Glacier Entrance, 5 minutes from Josephine’s Bar and Kitchen and the Glacier Distillery which i highly recommend. Would stay there again if i go back to visit. Weather permitting, I would really like to whitewater raft with them- it was so close to the river!"

"The Walsh cottage is a wonderful cozy cabin situated in peaceful and quiet surroundings. The location is excellent being inside the park for early morning starts. The scenery by the cottage of Lake MacDonald is breathtaking. It is not a lakeside view but with only a very short walk, the beach is right there. We even got to enjoy a visit by a black bear to a berry bush very close to our cottage. Later a momma bear and 3 cubs were seen on the shoreline of Lake MacDonald right by the cottage. We loved staying here and would recommend to others"
