Yes, the property is more basic but it totally served our needs and the staff and owner were super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved Glacier Nat Park.
Small bedroom, bed and bathroom all was clean and well maintained. Room had refrigerator and tv (Roku only, no cable). Parking tight but right in front of room. Parking also available on street. Is a coffee maker in room but also coffee options nearby. Good place to stay if just need to crash after a long day at Glacier and a good value from that standpoint.
Property was clean but rooms are very small. Excellent location to East Glacier Amtrak station. We were on motorcycles and took route 49 toward St. Marys which was fantastic.
Most importantly the staff were excellent. They even got us out of an overbooking bind. We had one room more than needed and were well beyond cancellation date. They offered to attempt to rebook, were successful and promptly refunded our room charge. Made my day.

Hotel looked super rough from the outside but the room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. There was no internet connection so we were unable to watch TV, which was a real issue. Have to check in at store down the street. There is no ice at hotel but they give you a bag of ice upon check in.
Great access to glacier national Park. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. Only downside was the room by the street is very close to the train which you can hear running through the night.
The room was clean and comfortable. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker with cups and packs of coffee, a big TV, Internet, and a huge bathroom with a tub and shower. Everything worked! For seniors, and those with mobility issues note that although you can look down from the station and spot the general store and motel, it's a bit of a trek getting there - walk down the hill, cross a busy road to the store and then three blocks down the highway to the motel. My advice, go slow and travel light!
We love this place. We have stayed here before , I got a bigger room this time. Everything was perfect. Zero complaints would stay here again.

The room itself was good.
When we went to check in there was a sign on the door we had to check in 2 blocks down the street. We went there, checked in and went back to the motel. We got there and there was no room #10. We had to go back down the street. They said one of the keys they gave us fit what appeared to be the office. Once you got in there the door going to our room was there. It would have been very helpful had they told us that information when we checked in.
Love this little hidden gem, stayed in room 1. Great lil kitchen. Very comfy bed and pillows the staff were very accommodating with great recommendations to where to hike. Being a solo traveler I felt completely safe and content. Would highly recommend
Property was clean and ready for us. It was pretty quiet, with the exception of the random train passing through now and then. You couldn’t really hear it from our room though. It was just what we needed as a home base for the weekend.
Very very old and small rooms. It’s a motel that probably dates from the 1940s. No toiletries. Clean enough but not spotless. Pay more and find a better choice. Owner who runs the nearby Trading Post was nice, but that’s it.
The rooms were cleverly laid out with adjoining rooms by way of the kitchen. It was a tight fit, but dinning area did accommodate our family of four. The smoke detector was extra sensitive and a lot of the cooking utensils were absent, which had I not come prepared with my own I would have had a difficult time. An oven with nothing to bake in, is of no use.
Staff were very friendly. The room was clean and it was nice h

It was an older motel and small, but the bed was comfortable and it was clean. It was just right for an overnight stay for my husband and I. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. Would stay there again.
Perhaps the best thing was the location in the proximity of Glaciar National Park.
For a half of the paid price it would be a decent one night stay albeit not a comfortable one.
We had a room #10 in the main building, looking much better inside than outside.
Everything was very clean and kind of nice.
Our bathroom was pretty spacious, with a small shower cabin and a non-functioning bathtub. There were a few shelves (very convenient) and only a single towelbar and one hook for towels. Inconvenient, though pretty common.
The room was rather small, with a queen bad, one nightstand with a lamp, one chair and a drawer. No place for a suitcase. There was also minifridge, microwave, coffee machine and TV.
The only available AC socket I found was near the floor, so one charger at a time. WiFi was ok.
