"A lovely place with an interesting history, super friendly welcome, lovely room and everything we needed. We dined there too and the food was spot on, really tasty, good portions and fairly priced. The only thing I would say is that the room was a little chilly and we couldn’t find controls to change that. However I assumed as it was summertime the heating was off, it just happened to be a rainy chilly May Day! I had a lovely deep bath in the freestanding tub and was soon back to being warm!"

"Free parking next to the hotel in the middle of the town, nice clean & comfy room, good shower and bathtub. Had a tasty evening meal and breakfast downstairs and all of the staff were super polite & helpful. Really enjoyed my stay and if I'm ever in Welshpool again I'll stay here!"

"This holiday let might be small but has everything you'll need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Not difficult to find, at the end of a country track. It being late December, I appreciated the heating which was controllable and kept me nice and toasty. Lovely views - I love this part of Wales. Ideal base for walkers who don't need to walk up mountains, moderately-high hills will do. Reasonably private but not isolated. The owner is nearby should you have a problem. I'd perhaps like to go...
