The Crown Hotel
8/10 Good
"Staff very obliging. All very polite. Ensuite in our first room was a little cramped but we adapted. There was a problem with water leakage from another room so we were asked to move. The new room was even better. Food and drink prices no more expensive than other establishments. Hotel has old world character which was nice to see as the county seems to be loosing our traditions. This is bad for the country and hospitality sector."
Oriental Garden Pod. Set in our gorgeous garden of bonsai, pagoda and koi pond.

"I would 100% recommend a stay here. The hosts were exceptional with their contact throughout right from when we made the booking. They could not have been more helpful and always responded very promptly and helped with recommending a local pub which was really nice. The accommodation was lovely and the garden area was beautiful and the hot tub temperature was perfect. We would definitely stay here again."

"Hotel was excellent, clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, best I have had for many years, served fresh to the table. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Excellent location for visiting Ely Cathedral & City. Nice bar and garden."
The Dukes Head Hotel

"We stayed at The Duke’s Head Hotel for three nights & on registering, we were given a complimentary upgrade. The room was lovely with a lounge, bedroom & bathroom, being very comfortable & clean. The staff were very helpful & friendly. Our booking included breakfast & there was a wide & good choice. We had an evening meal on our first night which was well presented & delicious. The hotel is ideally situated for getting around King’s Lynn. The only disadvantage is that although there is parking behind the hotel, it is a pay car park(£15 per 24hrs). The bath was quite deep which could be a problem for anyone with a physical disability to get in & out of, the shower being over the bath & was quite slippery. However, I would definitely stay here again if visiting Norfolk."

"The room was extremely good and the view over the river amazing. It’s the first time we’ve stayed in a guesthouse where you have a code for the main door, pick up your key and good to go. Didn’t see anyone else. Breakfast was the first time we saw any of the staff, extremely helpful and polite, breakfast was delicious but even though very well cooked the choice was only scrambled egg, sausages, crispy bacon and cooked tomato. Fine for a short stay, but I didn’t want cereal or fresh fruit and snakes, I do enjoy a cooked breakfast, needs a little choice rotation I think? Excellent stop over for a short break, Ely is a beautiful town. Would use again"
Knights Hill Hotel & Spa

"Lovely!! Perfect location on route to coast. Stayed in the main house, super huge cosy twin room with everything we needed, really clean and beds comfy. Staff were super helpful from the moment we checked in, the pub next door was cute and welcoming bar staff and friendly guests all chatting. Managed to get a swim & steam in before checking out, loved it! It’s not a modern hotel but clean and felt like a treat to stay. The tea & biscuits in the room was a nice touch. Would recommend 🙂"

"This is a wonderful place to visit 5 room suite .kitchen fridge cooker Queen bed Chesterfield leather chairs a great tv. Power shower fabulous antique furniture, this is one of the most perfect hotels We have ever stayed in Great staff too Made a good weekend wonderful 😌 Thank you very much 100 out off 10"
