"Recently renovated food room in traditional pub. Staff were outstandingly friendly. Bustling trade with karaoke evening the first night we arrived, great straightforward breakfast."

"Bedroom was clean and comfortable, friendly staff, great breakfast and dinner"

"Lovely place."

"Great views and great restaurant, lots of parking and scenic river views from room and restaurant"

"Fabulous find for a quick stop in the town centre. Will definitely use again. Great rooms and the food was fab too."

"Great staff and amazing location to stay and eat at."

"Lovely place to stay, the communal kitchen is a really good idea I don't always want a cooked breakfast when I'm traveling,"

"Nice and clean helpful staff good bar and restaurant"

"We were greeted by Noah and he served us breakfast each morning and made our stay more pleasant with his cheerfulness. We slept over the Pub and surprisingly had a great nights sleep for all three nights! We were in walking distance of market square and city shopping! Parks close by and Cam river. Enjoyed our stay!"

"Lovely pub with rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly and our room was cosy and quiet. We had breakfast and dinner, both of which were excellent. Parking was no problem and the pub provided a good base for exploring Cambridge and the Fens."

"Room was clean and fairly basic. Staff were excellent and couldn't be friendlier or more helpful"

"The Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar area and locals were welcoming. The accommodation could do with some TLC. Mattress in room 3 needs replacing."

"Lovely hotel with comfortable bed and great breakfast. There was also a fan in the room which was appreciated with the warm weather. Would definitely stay here again."

"The room was very nice, the shower was excellent. The food in the restaurant was very good, and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"Primarily chosen as it was near to an event we were attending at the Nene Valley Railway (a short drive from the pub). We liked that the accommodation was in a separate building to the pub (although the pub was not loud). Good breakfast, evening meals, and friendly staff. We have a lovely walk around the village one evening, went back following day to try the local tea rooms but they closed early which was a shame. Will definitely stay here again"

"Bit tired but staff were brilliant"

"A very enjoyable 2 night stay. Pleasant locaton, very helpful and polite staff and very enjoyable food. Only comment is that the roomwas really too small to have a king sized bed. Recomended."

"A warm and welcoming stay in the heart of Ely in a lovely pub. The room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, felt like a bijou apartment, and the bed very cosy indeed with sumptuous bedding. Very quiet, surprising for a pub on a high street . The bar downstairs is cosy with a large menu if needed. The breakfast menu also looked good but we didn’t partake. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again."

"so friendly and relaxed. food excellent. rooms cleaned daily. pool cleaned daily. would recommend"

"Lovely stay after attending a wedding locally, friendly staff , comfortable room and tasty full English breakfast ."
