"A great spar hotel with a large, comfortable bedroom, good restaurant and some excellent facilities. It is in lovely grounds and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay here. It was ideal for my purposes - a visit to Waddesdon Manor. "
"A great hotel, we came for an event and the hotel was very convenient and good.
We did not eat at the hotel so I am unable to comment on this.
However, we did have a drink in the bar and we did have to replace the glasses about 3 times as they were all dirty. The staff seemed to lack training in customer service skills. The same 2 drinks, cost a different amount each time."
"Parking extortionate £10 overnight when not in a locked area. Hairdryer wiring exposed. Ironing board cover burn specks. Only 1 teaspoon. Windows cannot open for fresh air. Air con unit shows filter require cleaning so was not working well. TV not all basic free view channels available. Worse of all, in a massive hotel only 2 points for lifts when you have luggage to carry, and only one set of the lifts goes to ground floor reception. Have to walk 15 mins to get to lifts ! Ridiculous when u have luggage to carry. Will not use again. Only positive it has a room safe. "
