Very clean, though a bit worn in a few aspects (tub). Otherwise, a nice view and very quiet. I’ve stayed here previously and will stay here again.

While it is true that parking can get a little tight for us here, we are looking into ways to possibly expand but as you know we have limited space. Good stay
King room was very clean, but worn. Bathroom was a bit more updated. I had a pet friendly room. Loved the balcony. Bedding desperately needs to be replaced- blanket had a ton of bleach marks due to repeated staining. Front desk hosts were very nice. I'll be staying again, but I'm bringing my own blanket for the bed.

It was just OK. We traveled with my emotional support dog and were charged a fee. Our room had a door inside that was adjoining another room...there was a fairly large gap under the door and you could hear the other guest coughing...gross.

I did look at the reservation and noticed that you did make a last-minute reservation and we did have limited availability, As far as the emotional service animal charge, Hotels and motels must give people with disabilities reasonable accommodations. But they are covered by a different law, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Service animals are protected under the ADA, but emotional support animals (ESAs) are not. Therefore there was a charge for your animal. I have addressed your issue with the adjoining door with the appropriate staff and we will rectify that issue. Again thank you for your review and should you want to discuss any further please contact the hotel directly.

The property is up on quite a hill-- so we felt safe. No riff-raff would bother them up there. Being up on the hill, the view was very nice. It was a good, basic motel, nothing fancy. A decent bed, bathroom (although you might need to run the hot water a while for it to reach you), a TV, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, and a place to rest.

Kim, Thank you for your honest review of our hotel. While I was unaware of any issues you had while you were here. But our hotel is in the process of a remodel and has been very well maintained. As far as breakfast, we have a very wide selection of items for a continental breakfast complete with hot options. Your reservation was also for three nights not two and booked last minute which is the reason for the higher pricing. Again had you brought any of these issues up during your stay, I might have been able to make different arrangements

We stopped for one night after driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just needed a clean bed and a shower. The facility was well maintained and delivered beyond my expectations. Staff was friendly. (Hi Rebecca!) The icing on the cake and it's a fantastic icing is the sunrise view of the Smokey Mountains outside your balcony. It's a photographer's hot spot.

We booked a non smoking room and the room provided was very obviously reeking of old smoke. This was brought to the attention of the front desk attendant who told me that the room may smell of smoke if someone was smoking on the unit balcony. Nice. So much for non smoking. The smell was so intense I got no sleep and had to wash all of my clothes when I got home. This was disgusting. As for the room, I can’t say anything good about the dinghy lighting and chipped bathtub. The place is a dive and needs to be torched.

Philippe, Thank you for your review of our hotel. While it is unfortunate that your stay was less than stellar, I do not believe the place is a dive. We have fully remodeled all rooms and take pride in our 100% sanitation rating. I, unfortunately, was unable to move your room as you were a last minute booking and received one of our last king-sized rooms. I also am not in control of others' actions and did offer every solution that I had available. Since you did pay for your room with the third party my hands were tied with a refund.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DUMP I CANT BELIEVE EXPEDIA EVEN LISTS THIS AS A HOTEL It’s a rip-off!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! This is an old run down motel, not even a hotel and it is worse than some hostels Smells like cigarettes and mold even after being repainted The A/C unit when on, prevents from watching tv at any volume since it is old and loud (and the motel walls are so thin you hear all the other A/C units and TVs at full volume… it’s a disaster The door locks almost fell apart, the peep hole on my door was missing and was covered with a trash bag stuffed inside the whole The lighting is inadequate and parking is insufficient I was charged $125 per day and it is not worth even 12$ per day This property should not be in business It should be demolished
