Amazing place!
Place was awesome loved the heated garage so you could bring your gear in overnight and let it thaw. Spent most our time in the garage. The house side was comfy clean & modern with everything you already need inside the house! Would definitely stay here again! Just wish you could check in a bit earlier.

Luckys Hide Labor Day 2022
Had a great time at Luckys Hide. Perfect place for a decent sized group. It’s a great set up in the “man cave” and the location is great as it’s close to plenty of lakes in the area. Overall, had a great time!

The location was good. The location was roomy. The beds were stiff or hard the pillows were hard. The living room furniture is dated and well used not clean. The cooking area on the side of the house was very greasy. There’s a big grease stain in the garage. You had to travel gravel roads to get to that location so if you’re hauling a boat your boat gets dirty very fast. This would be a great place for a hunting party. Not much to do in the area other than hunt or fish. But that has nothing to do with the homeowner that’s just the location. It was good for what we used it for I just wished it would’ve been on a paved road several miles of gravel got my boat very dirty. Certainly not the homeowners problem. Everything at the home was clean, but we’ll used. Check in at 3 o’clock is a little late and check out at 10 o’clock is a little early doesn’t seem fair for the money.

Beautiful location!
We absolutely loved this place! It is in the perfect area for great fishing lakes, the garage was nice and spacious and had the perfect table for playing games with a big group! We loved that they provided a corn hole game and they had the perfect are in the backyard to play! The place was very clean and they had all the amenities you needed. My family and I will definitely be coming back to this place again soon! Thank you for having us!

Great house for our yearly ice fishing trip. Large open garage for seating our group. Check in was simple, and communication was great with property manager! My group has stayed here twice, and would again!

Dirty place
The place wasn’t clean when we checked in. The door was open, debris all over the table and countertops and all the bed was not made. We had to wait for the cleaners to come over and clean it. The manager told me that someone probably broke in before we checked in. They wanted to charge us for damages property that someone tried to break in. We disputed this claim and they finally charged us for a cheap broken handle. My family come to this area every year and we will NOT stay with them anymore.

Ice fishing trip w/friends
Lucky's Hide was the perfect place to stay for a weekend of ice fishing. The garage/man cave is great for winding down after a long day of fishing, and also had excellent facilities for cleaning your catch. There was also ample space in the garage to pull in all your gear to give it a chance to dry out. Beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the towels were clean. While it is not lakefront, the views from the livingroom and kitchen are great. All in all I would recommend this place to a friend, and look forward to staying there again.

Family Ice Fishing Trip
My wife and 19 yr old daughter and I ventured to the Waubay area for an ice fishing trip. While the fishing was not outstanding, we did manage to clean about 20 small perch, so it was not a total bust. Property was perfect, has everything you need. Really appreciate Anne accommodating us staying an extra night due to the blizzard! Prompt response to all texts. We look forward to staying here for future fishing trips!

The place was in an ok location for fishing. Many gravel roads, dusty conditions. The lake house was comfortable and accommodating. Fishing was difficult in Waubay lake, but with many adjacent lakes it made the fishing trip a success.

Ann was very good and easy to work with answered back immediately with any questions I had. The rental property was great the heated garage was a great hang out spot. The cleaning company could have done a better job the toilets where not very clean and you could tell where they tried whipping things down but just smeared things around and made it worse. Other then the poor hose keeping it was great.

Waubay retreat
Stayed for 3 days and really enjoyed the house, especially the garage/hangout area. We spent 90% of our time in there and fishing area lakes. Thanks for the great accommodations and look forward to staying there in the future.
