Loved the hospitality, cookies, brownies, coffee and water, all complimentary. Most hotels aren’t as generous. One of the front employees not t friendly but the second one was amazing, made up for the one that wasn’t. Be nice if pool opened earlier.

First room was really bad. Bed made a lot of noise just sitting on it and all the amenities were old (microwave, refrigerator and furniture). Too much noise from the kids playing in the swimming pool. Asked for a different room and had to pay an extra $10.00 to upgrade to a better room that was quieter and located in a newer section of the hotel.

I stayed in the cabins, which I really enjoyed. When I got there, there was a used towel still hanging on the door. The toilet kept running also. I notified the staff and they tried to fix it, but it didn't work. The staff was friendly, and the $5 to use the hot tub and gym are well worth it.

Historical, Good Value, Repeat.
Interesting historical building with numerous TR placards, historical events and memorabilia. Convient to TR National Park North Entrance. Pet area is very limited. Better than average fitness room with wide-array of dumbells, but cardio-equipment is limited. Nice indoor pool. Good breakfast. Beds and room were OK. Great value for the $$.

If you're going to visit Watford City or the nearby Theodore Roosevelt park, this is a great place to stay. Clean rooms, excellent location, hot breakfast and attentive staff.

Great hotel with a personal touch
Absolutely loved it. Very quaint, cozy, and the personal touches added to the whole experience. Great pictures, complimentary cookies/brownies and coffee. Rooms with a patio - so cool. Nice big pool area was south facing and sunshine comes in on a clear day. Good breakfast. Front desk staff super friendly. Loved it!!

I felt like I was staying in someone’s home. The lobby was beautifully decorated. Sunflowers had been planted outside. There were raised garden beds with a variety of flowers and vegetables. The staff was helpful and friendly. Desk clerk even took our picture outside with Teddy’s statue!

Friendly and accommodating
Very friendly and accommodating folks run this inn. We arrived very late, but they checked us in in a such a friendly and warm way that we felt really welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. I can’t comment on the breakfast since we slept late and missed it, but we would most happily stay there again.

The hotel is very nice for tourists.
We reserved a cabin, not knowing that they are better suited for the longer term stays such as the oil industry workers. The desk manager quickly switched us to a hotel room, which was spotless, comfortable, and had a nice view of the valley. The breakfast provided was a good variety of foods, and the cookies and brownies in the lobby were a plus!

A week of too close for comfort
We booked 2 months in advance for a cabin. On arrival we were informed there had been a mistake but we would be given an upgrade. Sounds great except the room was so small. There was no place to hang our clothes and not enough floor space to put our luggage on luggage stand. Other than that room was great. If that was an upgrade wonder what the cabin was really like. Pictures looked nice but that can be deceiving
