You’re right on the Bund, and the classic Shanghai skyline looking across to Pudong is literally right outside the door. It’s hard to beat and makes the whole stay feel a bit special. One of the highlights was the breakfast. It’s very high quality, with a wide and varied selection that changes daily, so it never feels repetitive. It was something I actually looked forward to each morning. There are just a couple of small things worth noting. The beds are very firm, even for someone like me who normally prefers a firmer mattress, so that may not suit everyone. Also, the air conditioning didn’t seem to be working properly during my stay. It wasn’t a major issue given the cooler weather, but it could matter more at a different time of year. Overall, though, a wonderful stay and I’d happily return."
