Halo Igloos - Private Sauna & Hot Tub

Rovaniemi

10/10 Excellent

Our stay at Halo Igloo was incredible. The room was lovely, everything was very clean and the hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for them. Staff were very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help. On one day when we couldn’t get a taxi to one of our activities the man on reception offered to take us so that we would not miss it. Lovely accommodation and people. We hope to visit again.

Lapland Hotels Sky Ounasvaara

Rovaniemi

A great hotel with a real sense of warmth and tranquility, fantastic staff and clean well made rooms. It sits at the top of the Ounasvaara hill, so prepare for it, but we loved it. The views over the forest, with the town beyond, are lovely. It's a lovely walk along the forest path down to Rovaniemi (about 2km), we stayed in October and there was no snow. Be prepared for the climb back up, or hop in a taxi for a short ride. The restaurant is a real highlight: local flavours, beautifully served...

Within 30secs from town centre, withing 10secs from cracking burger and pizza restaurants for great take away. Within minutes from play park for kids, couple of hundred yards for the bus stop to Santapark/Santa Village/Airport. Taxi from Airport to hotel is about 25 to 27 euros. Takes about 7 minutes. Bus to Santa...
