Very Cool Hotel

Posted 31-Aug-2016
Cons: AC in the rooms!
Loved the hotel; design, service, rooftop patio, excellent breakfast joint, very central to everything! The only downside is no AC in the rooms. Would go again for sure!

Excellent Suite only hotel in central location

Posted 17-Aug-2016
Pros: Spacious modern, comfortable suites, large pool and spa. Excellent coffee shop/bistro. Central walkable location.
Cons: Basic condiments & oil for cooking etc ( as part of a welcome pack) to make then most of large/modern kitchen
Location: Excellent central location to explore Downton/Inner Harbour and Beacon Hill Park.
Had a wonderful 4 day stay with our family in a beautiful spacious suite with full kitchen.

Very close to downtown sights, restaurants

Posted 15-Aug-2016
Pros: Everything. See above.
Cons: I can't think of a thing.
Location: Just a couple of blocks from the downtown and marina, government buildings, water taxis, boat tours, restaurants, shops. In the midst of everything.
Reserved hotel through Expedia and, as a VIP member received an upgrade to a one bedroom luxury suite. It was spectacular. Full kitchen, living room, 2 full baths and a great bedroom with a huge balcony. The living room windows looked down on the hotel atrium and I could see the koi pond. We didn't avail ourselves of the amenities, but they are many, including full gym, pool, restaurant/coffee shop. Our every need was attended to and we felt like royalty. I've stayed in Victoria several times before, but will never stay anywhere else in the future.

Excellent Location in tranquil environment

Posted 10-Aug-2016
Pros: The location. The friendly, professional staff.
Cons: The rooftop patio is wonderful but could be truly lovely with more outdoor patio furniture and added plants.
Location: The hotel is conveniently located to the nearby harbor, the Fairmont Empress, the Parliament building and many close-by restaurants.
This was my first stay at this quiet, peaceful and spacious environmental hotel. This hotel prides itself in achieving award status in "green conscience" practices that include composting as an option in the kitchen suites and all rooms without a/c because the fresh bay side breezes afford adequate cooling in the rooms. All suites are modern, very spacious and functional for sleeping, eating and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Victoria, B.C. Recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great location and restorative experience.

Pros: Location. Clean. Pool. WiFi.
Cons: Service poor. No air conditioning. Room key cards were horrible. Noisy.
This hotel looked great on the internet but was very disappointing. They charged for parking at an already overpriced hotel and charged for a horrible continental breakfast which we passed on. The elevators were constantly out of order and the room cards didn't work right. We had to go to the desk 3 times to get them "recharged". Very annoying. The rooms were clean but noisy (traffic noise) and HOT.....no air conditioning! I would not recommend this hotel.

Great boutique hotel near the harbor

Posted 29-Jul-2016
This was a great spot for our family. Quiet street close to the harbor. Lots of living space. The Lobby and architecture are great. Quick breakfast downstairs. A nice boutique hotel that feels private and quiet. Easy parking under the hotel.
