Home away from home.
This is an upscale residence type hotel, situated in a neighborhood of million-dollar high-rise condominiums. The lobby is large and tall with plenty of windows, an atrium with waterfalls and a meandering fish pond. The attractive rooms include 2 fireplaces, a well-equipped kitchen, living room with hardwood floors, bedroom with Berber rug, walk-in closet, and bathroom with heated marble floor.
The king-sized bed had a soft pillow top but was supportive underneath. There were nice large pillows and warm comforters. The heavy blackout curtains and shades do a decent job of cutting the light for sleeping.
The room was very clean and well-maintained. We had a nice city view from the 5th floor, although October was a bit cool for using the balcony. Traffic noise echoed somewhat between the buildings, but there is little traffic during the wee hours when quiet takes over.
