Very nice apartment, clean, modern, in the middle of Verona. If you dont have wifi, it could be difficult to contact the owner for checkin anyway. But thats a very little problem. So everything ok.

Your arrival was managed as a self check in so it is easier sometimes to deal this by Apps like Whatsapp, I understand that without wifi this may not be easy. It's not luxurious, just average with bad service
We were excited to stay at an apartment that stated to be luxury but it turned out to be just an average apartment. Some things were not as expected and some were great! The check-in kind of set the tone for our stay - We had to pay a service fee which was quite a lot + city tax (amount you wouldn't casually have on you in cash). The man who checked us in required us to pay up front in cash when we arrived although the Italian laws claim that you pay when you leave (and the three other places we'd stayed at during our trip followed that). He was really rude and insisted on us either giving him a credit card number or walking to an ATM to take out cash. Seemed like their only concerns were money but not their guests... The apartment was not very clean as there was mascara on the bathroom sink, toothpaste on the black bathroom door, the curtains had brown stains all over them and the balconies hadn't been swept since last summer and so on. Further, there came no water from the kitchen sink, the bathroom flooded during each shower and the apartment couldn't been locked from the outside. The good thing was that the apartment perfectly located, and we were surprised to find a washing machine to use (but there was no drying rack so we had to improvise). The bedroom was nice, but the AC was a bit too cold during the nights and there were only sponge-pillows in the bed. It's a nice apartment, but definitely not luxurious and I wouldn't pay a lot of amount for staying there..

Dear Guests, Thank you for sharing your anonymous comment with us. Let me please explain some points to our future guests who are going to read this review: - The check out is a self one and the payment is requested at check in. It does not exist any italian law that claims that payment must be made at check out. It is common in ordinary management but not mandatory! You are advised by email prior to arrival that the extra fees are to be paid at check in, in cash or credit card. - The service fee is showed on our booking page, so prior to your booking. If according to you it was a lot, I think it was better to not book our property. - The man who checked you in is our collaborator Riccardo, he was there for you, to assist and help you in any need and he is responsabile for the payment. If he was rude, I apologize about this. - About cleaning service, if there was any lack, it may happen and I apologize also about this. But it only needs a call to our office to recuperate immediately the situation. - The kitchen sink has a touchscreen system: if you do not activate it, no water would come. The shower flooded? Why did not signalize it? The door does not lock from outside? Not true, we lock it every time. Maybe you were not able to lock it.. Again, a call to our office and all this "problems" (if you want to call them problems) were solved in 1 minute. - AC a bit too cold: there is the controller in the apartment, each room has its own thermostat. Maybe a call would have helped.. ? We are human and we may miss something, even if we always commit ourselves to work in the most correct way. But things can change during your stay if you communicate to us. It is easy to say "this does not work" if you are not able to use it. Moreover, when you go back at home. If issues were signalized, you were happier now and we would not have received this low rate.
