"I stayed here with my family of 5 and this house was the perfect size for us (2 adults, 3 kids: 11-17 in age). The property is a nice 15 minute walk to the main strip of Kings Beach and about a 10 minute walk from Safeway. The house itself was clean and we enjoyed the log cabin feel of the interior. For our group, it felt a little tight. The living room isn’t really set up for more than four people at the most if the TV is on. We spent most of our time on the front porch with a filtered view of lake. It was nice out there and only really hot for an hour when it was in direct sun. "This rental was perfect for my friend and I who met for a long weekend getaway. The house was really comfortable (great layout), decor was tasteful, and the location was in a safe and quiet neighborhood. There are really fun additions like a game room and mini bar! The backyard is in need of a makeover (landscaping) but it didn’t really impact us as we didn’t sit outside. It has a ton of potential. I sent many messages prior to booking that it lists hottub but has no photos and they said "we are getting you a photo". "Cozy home. Needs a bit of updating. For example the cookware was in bad shape. No lighters or matches to get the wood burning fireplace going. The promoted games in game room, some were broken. Other wise a good place to stay with family."

"We had a wonderful stay! The listing was very accurately representative of the condo. Comfy beds and clean. One of the paintings in family room was not hung but secured behind the couch. The dishwasher did not have a steam function so we had to hand dry all washed dishes after it completed its cycle. There was no broom unfortunately but we made do with a vacuum. "We enjoyed our stay here and loved the proximity to Northstar. The space fit well for our group — 4 adults and 2 kids. The house is listed as fitting 8 people, but it seems like that would be tight. The only small negative is that it was not well stocked with essentials like salt & pepper or extra toilet paper. The local staff did bring more toilet paper, but only on the second to last day of our trip. Otherwise, no complaints. A nice, cozy home perfect for a ski vacation."

"Our stay was wonderful and Just what our family needed. Beautiful main room with big windows looking out into the forest. Hot tub on the main deck was ideal! Bed's were comfortable and plenty of towels for showering and hot tubbing. The community was quiet and so are we so that was a perfect, peaceful match for our family. We will definitely book again and would recommend this home to others."

"The property was in a good location, although there was a lot of construction next door that started by 7:30 each morning. The property was clean and well stocked (trash bags, dishwasher packets, laundry soap, spices). The house was somewhat dated, but was quite comfortable for our group. The views of the lake from the deck were a great bonus."
