No lift Fantastic location, a few steps away from Main Street that leads you to Venezia Santa Lucia train station. One thing to consider is that to go up, you need to take the stairs as there is no lift, so watch out if you are bringing luggage bags. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and the room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. But it's clean, located not only on the Venice island but in immediate proximity to the rail station, grocery store, bridge behind the canal -- it's a really central location. There is breakfast available for about 10 EUR (in the nearby hotel, where check-in and check-out for Florida is done) but we didn't eat it, still a good option to have. There's no AC but the weather was not hot, and no mosquitoes to fly in with the open window. Not the worst thing but still inconvenient. The rooms were very small even by European standards, and were in somewhat disrepair, peeling wallpaper, cracks in the walls, chipped and peeling paint. Extremely convenient location with a 2 minute walk to the train station, and plenty of shops/eateries.
