We arrived and there was literally no one there. We had to call the hotel reservation number and wait for someone to arrive, but luckily we could get into the place to wait. It seems to be a revised bed and breakfast place maybe. It was difficult to find. That being said, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the room was nice, very large for a European hotel room, and refreshingly cold after long days in the heat. There was a noisy party outside our room the first night, but I think that was just bad luck and the other nights were peaceful. There is no breakfast, no concierge and no laundry service as advertised. We didn’t care too much about that, though we were counting on laundry service. The housekeeping provided was very good. There is no view. It is convenient to walk to shops, restaurants, and St. Marks. This fit the bill in an amazingly convenient location to all the sites but far enough away from the noise. Like all places in Venice it was a bit tricky to find and get to but not too bad as it is right in the corner of Campo Santo Stefano. I think writing the directions on the site would be helpful as even google maps gets a bit confused. Small detail as our stay was amazing!
