It is a very short walk from the water bus stop which makes it an easy journey to and from the Marco Polo Airport. Andrea sent clear and detailed instructions on how to get there. He gave us a friendly welcome when we arrived even helping to carry our luggage up the stairs. If he's not going to be there when you arrive he again sends detailed instructions. We stayed in the mirror apartment which was fantastic. It was very spacious. It was fun to open the windows in the morning and listen to the people walking by. It has a great atmosphere. It was no problem to store our bags after check out so that we could enjoy our last day in Venice. It was ideally located by the Ferry, which is extremely convenient when traveling with lots of luggage/bags. It was also centrally located close to touristy destinations AND not so tourist destinations. This was great because sometimes we wanted to get away from large crowds. Though the exterior isn’t “beautiful”, don’t judge a book by its cover. The interior was very nice, clean, comfortable, and spacious. My senior parents stayed in the master bedroom, my son slept in the second bedroom that had a twin sized bed and I slept in the queen sized sofa bed in the family room. The kitchen was also specious AND it had a washing machine that came in super handy for us because we had already been in other parts of Italy for a week. Though no dryer, I found it almost comforting and cute that I had to hang my clothes. lol. It makes you appreciate the many conveniences at home (US for us). Andrea, the host, was the best!!! Very helpful, communicative, response and just friendly and charismatic. I liked that he met us and brought us to the place personally. He showed us the apartment and answered all of our questions. All in all, I loved everything about this place and would definitely recommend it.
