Lovely house!
What a lovely house! Walkable to businesses and easy to access UBC, downtown, and everything else we wanted to do. Very comfortable, easy parking, and thoughtfully appointed. Would happily stay there again!

A cozy retreat in Kitsilano!
Fantastic stay in Vancouver! The property was impeccably clean with a welcoming vibe in a lovely neighborhood. Walking distance to Kitsilano Beach and local coffee shops made it even better. Miriam was a delightful host. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Relaxing Place

Perfect Kits experience
Our family visits to Vancouver typically involve a stay downtown, but we were curious to try something in Kitsilano, an iconic neighborhood in the city. Mirriam's place did not disappoint - perfectly located on a quiet side street and clearly well cared for. Communication was amazing, Mirriam was a lovely host, pictures were exactly as advertised, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Best VRBO I've ever stayed at!
This home is better than described. Very roomy, cozy, and comfortable, and full of everything you need. Amazing neighborhood, quiet and safe, close to some fantastic restaurants and coffee places (seriously C41 is the best coffee I've ever had!). Easy access to downtown. Parking right outside the home. Good communication with Mirriam. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be able to return again someday!

Tidy half house in a nice location

Lovely home and great location
Lovely home with comfortable beds, great spaces to relax, all desired amenities and gorgeous grounds. Close to everywhere we wanted to be including good restaurants, shopping and a quick drive into downtown. The host was super welcoming and provided beverages for our arrival as well as a fruit bowl. Would definitely stay here again

Amazing stay in Vancouver
First, let me say, I don't know if we would have enjoyed Vancouver as much as we did if we didn't stay in Kitsalano. Mirriam has such a wonderful, comfortable home in a great area near everything. It was so easy to get around and you felt really safe in her neighborhood. We just did not expect the amount of bicyclists and pedestrians! We did bike around Stanley Park twice and walk just about everywhere. She and her sister Maryann are so welcoming. I can see why you would want to call this neighborhood home. There are so many great restaurants, bakeries and such within walking distance. Canada Place, the airport, Capilano, Granville Island and Stanley Park are not far away! You will not be disappointed renting this beautiful home. Thank you once again for everything! We will definitely be back one day!

Amazing Stay!
Mirriam and her sister Maryann are the best hosts -- so warm, caring and kind! Nothing was too much trouble for them when we had questions. Their home was immaculate and the perfect set-up for our family of 6. We slept so well every night -- beds were super comfortable! The fresh flowers from their beautiful garden and complimentary items in the kitchen were very much appreciated!! And you cannot beat the location in Kitsilano! When we return to Vancouver, this is where we will stay again! We are so grateful!

Fantastic house and host in a great neighborhood

Fun Family Getaway
This house was perfect for our stay in Vancouver. It is located near Granville Island, which we visited most days as well as other activities we did during our visit. We spent most evenings relaxing at the house after a full day of activity. Mirriam checked in on us and was very responsive to any message we sent.

Great Stay in Vancouver!
This is a lovely property located in a wonderful neighborhood (Kitsilano) and hosted by a charming owner (Miriam). My family stayed 7 days and had a marvelous time. The house is spacious and super clean. It is well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen utensils and supplies. Kitsilano is conveniently located, close enough to downtown and the house is located only one block from public transportation. The neighborhood is great for walking, only 3 blocks away from the water and near the beach. Everyone seems to be a gardener in Kitsilano (especially Miriam!), and my wife and I had a great time walking to see all the flowers. Best of all, Miriam was a great host who responded quickly to all requests. She volunteered to shop for us prior to our visit, and was very helpful. One morning we had a problem with hot water; she responded within in minutes and had it fixed almost immediately. That day, she offered to drive us downtown to start our day and gave us some wine as well. She is the perfect host. Next time we visit Vancouver we will make sure we book this property. Best home stay we have ever had!

Perfect send off for our UBC student
We are a family of 5 and rented this property as a way to have some family time before dropping our oldest off for freshman year at UBC. We were very comfortable with 3 teens in this house, enjoying the neighborhood, restaurants, and biking. Very safe and inviting neighborhood with great beaches nearby. Mirriam was responsive and a great host. The Dahlia garden is even better than I imagined!

Amazing stay in Kitsilano
We just returned from an amazing one week stay in Vancouver and Mirriam's lovely home. At check in we were greeted with beautiful fresh flowers from her garden. The extras (toiletries, hair dryer, spices, coffee, tea) were a nice touch! Throughout our stay she surprised us with warm homemade cookies that we devoured and the most delicious local wine. Her hospitality is unmatched and her home is clean, spacious, and extremely quiet. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely home.

Beautiful home in great neighborhood
My son, husband and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely Kitsilano home. It was beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. The neighborhood was delightful and quiet. We visited the nearby park/beach and enjoyed some of the great nearby restaurants. It was a short drive to downtown Vancouver and the mountains. Miriam was a truly amazing and gracious host and we felt so at home. A delightful experience all around!!

Superb Accomodation
This is a beautiful home in a very walkable neighbourhood. It is close to shops, the beach and you can access other parts of the city easily. Family's birthday celebration
We rented the house for 4 nights for our family of 5. Mirriam was very courteous, responsive and pays attention to details, many beautiful bouquets of dahlias throughout the house, nice scented soaps in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and although the kitchen was small it was adequate. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood yet walking distance to restaurants and stores. Thank you Mirriam for a great visit and for the bottles of wine!

Feels like home in a great neighbourhood
I would struggle to find anything negative to say about this property. It is really comfortable, clean and has absolutely everything you need to feel at home. The host is very kind and helpful as well. The location is good with easy bus access down town, beach and UBC. Spoilt for choice with restaurants and cafes in Kitsilano and grocery stores within walking distance. I would highly recommend!

Lovely property in attractive location
We stayed here for 2 weeks with our eldest son, his wife and 3 little children for the purpose of attending our younger son’s wedding. On arrival the property was found to be absolutely spotless. The owner, Mirriam, who lived on the top floor, couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating.

Lovely Home
Absolutely lovely home. We loved the proximity to the beach and restaurants. Mirriam really helped our family feel right at home. We stayed with our two kids and grandparents. There was plenty of room. It's a quiet street and the kids slept well. She had everything we needed. The flowers at entryway were beautiful.

What a beautiful home
Very comfortable accommodation for 3 friends for a long weekend away. The house is so well equipped and Miriam was a wonderful host. Love the neighborhood which was wonderful for both walking and biking.

Comfortable and relaxing
The apartment was everything as advertised however think we pushed the envelope a bit,with the use of the single mattress on floor.....my doing. I envisaged something twice as thick....ikea have a single fold up chair witch rolls out... Missing for readers was a overhead reading lamp in lounge. Other than that it was and is perfect Thanks Mirriam
